A stationary boat and a working boat need different things from the same location record.
Position freshness matters on water more than anywhere else. Connectivity varies by installation and operating area, so a last known position has to be read with its update time.

- Out on the water. Use the reporting position and track to follow a charter, work boat or other connected vessel. Navigation, marine safety and weather decisions remain with the vessel's responsible operators and their own equipment and information sources. This is a location and movement view.
Specify for the water, not just the map
Mounting position, water exposure, power and operating routes all affect the installation. Tell us whether the vessel is a private boat, a charter boat or part of a fishing or marine operation, and where it is normally used.
We define suitable equipment and connectivity, fit and test the agreed setup, and configure the areas and alert recipients you need. Decide who checks an unexpected movement event, including when the usual contact is unavailable.
